Dr. Christopher McNeil Macomb Township - Why I Became a Chiropractor
Hi, my name is Dr. Christopher McNeil Chiropractor in Macomb Township MI. I grew up in Metro Detroit and both my mother and father are nurses. When I was growing up I broke my arm and received physical therapy rehabilitation. So, I always believed I would be a medical professional. Then when I was 17 I was in a horrible car accident breaking both arms, my leg and some fingers. Following that accident I received surgeries and alot of physical medicine rehabilitation. That was a major motivation to be a medical professional in the relm of physical medicine. Then when I was introduced to chiropractic care as a teenager I knew then I wanted to be a chiropractor

I attended Franklin High School then after graduating I went to Wayne State University to study undergraduate science courses before going to Life Chiropractic University in Marietta, Georgia.
During my studies at Life University I spent hundreds of extra hours in studying to become a certified Chiropractic Bio Physics (CBP) fellow. In fact, I was the first Macomb Township chiropractor, and the first chiropractor in Michigan to become certified in the CBP structural rehabilitation chiropractic technique. In addition I also spent many extra study hours in certification courses on whiplash auto accident injuries and chiropractic neurology.

In addition to being a the first Chiropractor in Macomb County certified in the Clinical Biomechanics of Posture Chiropractic (CBP) technique I'm also a board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. I am also member of the Michigan Chiropractic Association. I am also certified in “Work Safety”, “Ergonomic Training” and “Back Safety and Injury Prevention” through the though the Michigan Chiropractic Association and the State of Michigan’s Department of Consumer and Industry Services. I am a member of the Shelby Twp, Utica, Sterling Heights Regional Chamber Of Commerce. Lastly, I am one of only a few Chiropractors certified in Michigan to perform manipulation under anesthesia.
